Job Discription :-
What is the main purpose of this role?
Provide technical expertise and consultancy to internal customers that wish to host IIS web applications in the firm’s web hosting environment, ensuring adherence to existing standards.
Essential Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Behaviours required for the role :
Essential:
Total IT experience of around eight years
At least 1 year of experience in team lead position (this is not required for Offshore)
At least 2 years focused experience of:
Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and tuning IIS and COM+ within a strictly controlled production environment.
Scripting administrative tasks using one of the following technologies: VBScript, batch scripting, ADSI or WMI.
At least 2-3 years experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting and tuning W2K within a strictly controlled production environment.
At least 1 years exposure to:
Web application development technologies such as ASP, COM, Visual Basic, HTML, XML and JScript/VBScript.
Troubleshooting databases and database connectivity to MS SQL and Oracle databases over OLEDB, ODBC and ADO.
Internet technologies – TCP/IP, Firewalls, Load balancers and DNS.
Previous experience integrating applications within a multi-tier and resilient architecture, on a number of major projects within a blue chip company.
Ability to understand and follow due process e.g. Change Control.
Previous experience of working within a high security IT environment.
Ability to communicate at all levels, ensuring that both technical and non-technical people can understand topics being discussed.
Customer-focused, with the experience of delivering technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
Experience of consulting, advising and implementing IIS web applications.
Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects.
Highly Desirable :
Experience of web application development in some of the following technologies: asp, asp.net, VB6 and C++, HTML, VBScript, JScript and XML.
Experience of the .Net framework.
Experience of sites that implement SSL.
Strong documentation and report writing skills.
Commercial awareness in developing solutions.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Experience :- 5 to 10 years
Location :- Noida
Personal Skills:Effective communication skills
