PHP – Drupal – Technical Lead

Primary Responsibility

Work closely with users to understand requirements, develop technical designs, implement and extend web applications, and oversee the full application life-cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the team of software engineers w.r.t. technology.
Work with Project Manager to come up with project estimates, plan and resource assignments.
Work with Architect and team to deliver high-level and detailed design.
Review team member’s implementation to ensure they follow the design and coding guidelines.
Perform functional code reviews & integration tests.
Work with developers to resolve their technical issues & mentor them, hands on coding will be required.
Work with QA Lead to improve test plan.
Report work status to project manager.
Negotiate service level agreements with both internal and external customers and service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met.

Desired Profile

5+ yrs of experience in PHP and Drupal
Very technical and technologically savvy.
Ability to manage a team of technical software engineers.
Strong hands-on experience is a must and coding is expected.
Ability to manage complex technical projects.
Must have knowledge in SQL Server
Knowledge in AJAX, HTML, JavaScript is must
The candidate must have good web application development knowledge.
Communicate effectively across functions and build relationships.
Works well in fast-paced growing environment.
